Trip to Son-Kul lake

Day 1 – Bishkek – Burana Tower – Konorchek canyon – Kochkor village
In the airport our guide team welcomes you and drive to Kochkor. On our way, we will have a short trip to Burana Tower which was built on the 11-12th century by the local Turkish kingdom. This is a good opportunity to discover the history of Islam in the region. After we stop for lunch at local cafe on the highway. We continue our way and do a short round trip to Konorchek canyons. Arrival in Kochkor by the end of the day and stay at local guesthouse.

Day 2 – Kochkor village – Kyzart village – Chaar Archa – Tuz Ashuu pass
Transfer to Kyzart village by car in the morning. After you met your guide we will show you a short demonstration of riding horse, then start horse riding. Ride along Chaar-Archa valley and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Kyrgyz’s nature. Stop for the picnic in yurt along the river. We ride via Tuz-Ashuu pass (3300m) and we will be warmly met by the local shepherd’s family and drink a cup of tea with milk products of the locals.

Day 3 – Tuz Ashuu – Kyzart – Kalmak Ashuu pass – Kochkor – Bishkek
After breakfast at the yurt we ride our horses along the lake for 2 or 3 hours. As soon as we reach Andash yurt camp we say goodbye to our guide and horses that have been with us for the last days and now must return to Kyzart pass where we started the trip. We will have a lunch at yurt and our driver pick us up through Kalmak-Ahuu pass. On the pass, we stop for the pictures or just to see this beautiful pass. Closer to the evening we will come to Bishkek.
