Riding along the amazing mountains of Pamir-Alay valley, lots of summer pastures of local who lives in yurts and huts such as paradise of cattle astonished with fascinating landscape.
Completive day of Pamir-Alay horseback tour after a big inspiration you have a special dinner and dedicated to you Kyrgyz mini concert show in the guesthouse in Sary-Mogol (komuz, accordion) and a gift from a handmade souvenir.
 Next day morning we arrange a transport to Osh or your next traveling region in Central Asia.

Within a big trekking you spend a lot of experience and adventure in different weather conditions, in different places and with different people.

Tour Program:

Day 1 – Osh city – Ak-bosogo

Transfer from Osh to north-west of Ak-bosogo village, driving from Osh through Pamir-Highway is really marvelous view while driving, along the road many Kyrgyz villages are located on the both side of the road, the road is asphalted only 3 hours driving from Osh to Ak-Bosogo village, further horseback riding starts along gorge of Alay mountains, on the way cross the pass Agachart (3625m) after crossed, for more one hour going down along the mountain path and river up to the camp.Setting up tents at the edge of the river and spending the night.

PLEASURE PLACE: Tour of Ak-Bosogo is one of the new tour routes. This route has a large pass called Aga Chart at a height of 3625m. On the way you can see beautiful mountain junipers and spruce on the pristine mountains and beautiful nature, after the pass passes a large mountain river and along the river there are summer yurts of shepherds and there you can try kymyz, kefir, bread on the pot, within two days you will have a mountainous impression and harness the physical energy.

Day 2 – Riding to Darbaza-Tash 

After breakfast, start the second day, a long descent through the Kashka-Suu summer pasture after several hours the giant mountains offer views of the Pamir-Alai (Lenin Peak 7134 m), and also a beautiful scenery of the Alay valley. Further moving by following the path to Darbaza-Tash. Night will be in yurt.

21 km; 6-7 hours.

 Day 3 – Darbaza-Tash to Jiptik yurt camp

Riding horses by follow the trail (formerly a road) climbs steeply up numerous bends to the Jiptik Pass (4,185 m), where slopes of grass give way to loose rock.

Following a tough climb, riders are rewarded with a stunning panoramic view of the Pamir range across the Alay valley. Afterwards the trail descends steeply, with the alpine environment gradually giving way to juniper trees and lower-lying vegetation.

The overnight campsite can be reached in 5 to 6 hours after departing Darbaza-Tash.

Overnight altitude is 2940m.

The Highest riding height up to 4185m.

Day 4 – Camping site through Kojo Kelen to Kosh Moinok camp

The road continues down the canyon along the same river and sub-alpine pastures, where there are wide varieties of summer flowers. After a little over an hour, impressive sandstone walls appear ahead and the first houses of Kojo-Kelen can be reached in about 3 hours. lunch in home stay, then continue the horse riding to Kosh-Moinok camp. Night in tent.

7-8 hours riding.

Overnight altitude is 2816m.

The Highest walking height is approximately 3000m.

Day 5 – Kosh Moinok camp-foot of SaryMogol pass  

The route continues further along the Kichik Alai area. At first we cross low Kosh Moinok pass, then a little descends until Kyzyl Shoro village, Trek up along the river. You will see many yaks and is surprised on wild nature. Picnic on the road. In the late evening, you will reach the camp under the Sary Mogul pass. Overnight in tent.

8-9 hours riding.

Overnight altitude is approximately 3700m.

Day 6 –  Cross the Sary-Mogol’s pass (4300m) – Camp of Sary-Mogol pasture.

Steep pass In fact the distance is not long, but the pass takes time. An incredible sense of the landscape, you feel like in the sky, the height of the Pamir-Alay begins from the Sary-Mogol pass (4300 m) and down the pass lie amazing 4 rocky lakes (Besh-Kol) and the water that connects the lakes with each other, finally flows into the cave. Depending on weather conditions, we set up a tent around the lake or a few meters down to protect from wind and cold.

6-7 hours riding.

Day 7 – Besh-Kol to Sary-Mogol camp 

Approximately 10 km horse riding along the narrowest gravel path following the water flow we will come to the pasture of Sary-Mogol, where temporary locals live in yurts on the summer time. but it lasts not so long, approximately in 4 hours we will come to the place where our camp is located (3330m) night in tent.

4 hours riding.

Day 8 – Horse riding to next camp over Kara-Kabak

Today we are passing through the territory of Chon-Alay district, one of the most remote areas from Bishkek. Extensive area and wild mountain landscapes. The second part of the trekking continues in Chon-Alay mountains.
We pass through several foothills and upon reaching the place above the village of Kara-kabak. 

8-9 hours riding.

 Distance:  15 km.

Max Elevation: 3700 m.

Min Elevation: 3000m.

Overnight at 3000m.

Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner.

Accommodation: tents.

Day 9 – Kara-Kabak to Kashka Suu camp

Continue the next horseback riding in the northern suburb of Kashka-Suu jailoo, there will be a short riding through the hills and the archa mountains to the camp near the Kashka-Suu river.

Basically High mountain meadows located above the subalpine mountains. And alpine plants are similar to each other. This is due to their adaptation to similar habitats: a short vegetation period, rapid changes of temperature cold, humidity and dryness. Our overnight is in tent

5 hours riding.

Day 10 – Kashka-suu jailoo – Kosh-Kol lake 

Kosh-Kol lake is one of the most high-mountainous lakes which is located at 4120m above sea level. At first entrance one smaller and over there two larger lakes are located.
Here we will have one day of resting for more explore the lakes.

Time:  6 hours.

Distance:  15 km.

Max Elevation: 4150 m.

Min Elevation: 3000m.

Overnight at 3870m.

Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner.

Accommodation: tents.

Day 11 – Walking around the Kosh-Kol lakes 

We will have short excursion on the lakes for who wants.
On this day we will walk up to 4130m on the upper camp to have more explored the lakes. We leave our camp and horses, just take lunch boxes and light things; we see one and above there are couple of lakes then return down to the same camp.

Time:  2-3 hours. 

Distance:  2+2 km.

Max Elevation: 4150 m.

Min Elevation: 3870m.

Overnight at 3870m.

Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner.

Day 12 – Kosh-Kol to Sary-Mogol 

This day we will have a horseback riding along the summer pasture of Dam jailoo until over Kashka-Suu village from here you are transferred to Sary-Mogol after 4-5hours horseback riding. Arrive in guesthouse, lunch, day of relax easy walking around the village evening you have take a bath (shower) dinner and night in guesthouse in Sary-Mogol.

5 hours horseback riding; 30 min driving.

Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner.

Accommodation: guesthouse.

Day 13 – Sary-mogol – Tulpar-Kol lake 

We start horseback riding to Turpal-Kol along the Alay valley in the direction of Peak Lenin, the distance reaches 25 kilometers, and the height rises to 500 meters from Sary-Mogol to Tulpar-Kol and a very wide area is spread up to Tulpar-Kol, we will continue to yurt camp of CBT where we are located.

5-6 hours riding.

Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner.

Accommodation: yurts.

Day 14 – Tulpar-Kol to Kok-Chukur and Tuyuk canyon 

Take the horse again start off for best view of Lenin Peak, riding until the Kok-Chukur then back to yurt with same trail, after noon, heading to Tuyuk yurt camp.

6 hours riding.

Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner.

Accommodation: yurts.

Day 15 – Horse riding is continued to Sary-Mogol along the Kosh-Korgon valley

5-6 hours.

Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner.

Accommodation: guesthouse.

Notes:

Duration: 15 days (there are options from 5 to 20 days).

Recommended: for horse riders or who has some experience on horses.

Important things to bring with you: warm clothes, trekking shoes, sunglasses, sunscreen things and flexible bags of small volumes.

On the each riding horse: your own bags are will be carried.

Good season time: beginning of June to mid September.

Important: the tour starts from the city of Osh. Transfer from Bishkek and back is not included in the price. We can reserve transport upon your request.
